What is 'Better Business'?
You may know it as 'corporate (social) responsibility' (CSR, CR) - a term for the contribution that enterprises make beyond legal/regulatory compliance with the wider well-being of business and society. We prefer to use 'responsible business practice' or simply 'better business', to demystify this area of potential competitive advantage. Such practices are the contribution that businesses can make to 'sustainable development' which is development which meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
